Open Space Gallery & Events Project is an endeavor to facilitate event
venues for unrecognized artists and performers, and under-heard
musicians, poets and writers in the Hudson Valley.

OSG&EP will be moving to another valley - Penn's Valley, Pa. -
as of September 2022.
This project will continue to facilitate
unseen artists and under-heard musicians albeit in another location.
However, with the connections we have in and around the Woodstock area
OS will offer artists and musicians in any location the opportunity
to exhibit and perform.
The project continues!

We are a democracy of artists who have created amazing visual artworks in our kitchens; composed eclectic music our basements and garages, and have written engaging works in our back yard shacks.
We are experiential and experimental in our approach to our art, music and written word - and perhaps, "fringe" or "outsider" in our distinct and diverse approach to our craft.
We have a deep commitment to our work and an obligation to share our work with our communities albeit by unconventional means and in off beat venues.
Open Space explores safe and inclusive venues and facilitates events for:
> "Pop-up" galleries - Artists retaining 100% of their sales
> Reading and listening to written works without distinction of persons
> Accommodating anyone who wishes to perform their original music works
> Free-of-charge or donated-as-you-are-able events for the public
In Addition:
> Open Space is a not-for-profit, independent entity and is not grant funded at
this time.
> Open Space does not require "membership" dues or fees.> Open Space does not require a "portfolio review" writing samples,
or performance videos in order for artists to be listed.
> Open Space is not an artist's "co-op." Rather, OS facilitates events for
artist associates without time constraints usually tied in with co-ops.
> To honor our gifts; to share them with all <
It is our hope that through this endeavor we will inspire all under-heard
and unrecognized artists, regardless of their position or practice
to become the artists they were called to be.
